Thanks to the cooperation of the U.S. Government through the MCC, FOMILENIO promotes the execution of the Productive Development Project (PDP) for the tourism chain "Strengthening micro, small and medium tourism businesses in the Northern Zone by improving tourism promotion and commerce".

The project's main objective is to contribute to the development of the Northern Zone of El Salvador promoting economic growth and reducing poverty through increased levels of income and employment generation of the inhabitants of the area, developing the tourist destinations Suchitoto, High - Low Zones of Chalatenango, Metapán and Morazán.
